Privacy Policy
In order to conduct business with its clients, Mercer Securities must obtain certain personal information such as client addresses, telephone numbers, Social Security numbers, and other personal information. This information is used to assign clients an account number and to help Mercer Securities maintain accurate records of transactions and account balances.
It is the policy of Mercer Securities to protect the confidentiality of its client information, whether or not the client currently has an account with Mercer Securities, and in particular, not to sell information about its clients or their accounts to outside marketing firms. Mercer Securities has safeguards in place designed to prevent unauthorized access to its computer systems and procedures to protect personal information from unauthorized use.
Under certain circumstances, Mercer Securities shares this information with outside vendors who provide services to it, such as mailing and proxy solicitation. In those cases, the service providers enter into confidentiality agreements with Mercer, and Mercer provides to them only the information necessary to process transactions and perform other services related to the client accounts. Mercer Securities may also share information with its affiliates to service client accounts or provide clients with information about other Mercer products or services. It is also Mercer Securities' policy to share account information with a client's financial advisor, if one is listed.
Mercer Securities brokerage transactions are cleared through Pershing LLC, member of FINRA, NYSE, and SIPC.
